Gamers would love to have easy access to some of Nintendo’s legendary soundtracks on Spotify and Apple Music, too. Since Square Enix is finally getting around to doing a live concert tour for their music, perhaps Nintendo will get the hint. Symphony of the Goddesses draws from 30 years of LoZ history and included new compositions from recent games like Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild. The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess tour lasted five years and has performed in over 150 cities. Square Enix is playing catch-up with Nintendo when it comes to live orchestral concerts of famous soundtracks. A symphonic orchestra of more than 100 musicians and a full choir will re-create the legendary soundtrack. The Final Fantasy VII - A Symphonic Reunion concert will be held on June 9th, 2019, as the first concert dedicated to FFVII.

But it likely has to do with a special concert being given this week for FF VII, the remake of which is almost certain to appear at E3.Square Enix is working to promote the series and the upcoming Final Fantasy VII remake.įFVII is arguably the most popular game in the series, with Square Enix announcing a live concert to celebrate the game’s music. There’s been no mention of it on Square Enix’s social media channels, even the Final Fantasy-specific one. In case you missed it, the North America Fan Festival 2020. Final Fantasy XIV is available on the PlayStation 4 and PC. currently available on the two primary music streaming services, Spotify and Apple Music. You can check out the Soothing Sanctuary playlist on Spotify and Apple Music. So it’s not every every Final Fantasy, but close enough that I don’t feel bad about putting it in the headline. Good news for fans of the legendary RPG series Final Fantasy. No X-2, unfortunately for the few who liked that one (usually very intensely), and a few of the other non-main entries (like Tactics Advance and A2) are missing right now but perhaps only late to arrive. There’s even the soundtrack for the ill-considered 2001 movie, The Spirits Within. Forget any announcements ahead of E3 - the biggest news of the week is soundtracks to pretty much every Final Fantasy game are on Spotify and Apple Music. I just checked and Final Fantasies I-XV and some sub-sequels are all there, some in original and remastered versions, plus plenty of popular (or not) side titles like FF Tactics (come out on Switch already!) and Type-0.

Just log into Spotify or Apple Music and search for “Final Fantasy original soundtrack.” Just in time for your road trip to LA for E3, Square Enix has suddenly made the soundtracks to every main Final Fantasy game available for free to listen to online.
