I've looked at all of these tutorials, with no success (you'll have to search google, since the forum wouldn't let me post a URL): Has anyone successfully gotten a tomato client router to connect to a DD-WRT primary router via wireless ethernet bridge or wireless client? I'm open to any suggestions. WDS - I learned that this is only possible on same devices on the same manufacturers.Wireless Client - I'm aware that it runs on a different subnet.I've spent many sleepless nights researching and trying every tutorial found including the methods: I need to connect the tomato client router to the DD-WRT primary router. My primary router running the wireless network is running DD-WRT v24.

I only need this router to act as a wireless antenna (at 5ghz) for the wired device to connect to the main wireless network. To do so, I am connecting the wired device to my dual-band (2.4ghz and 5 ghz) Linksys e2500 v1 router.

I have a wired device that I need to make wireless. Tl dr: turn router into a wireless antenna for wired devices.
